Dear ATV & Dirt Bike Rider,
The management of WHFC&T wishes to thank you for your business and would like to inform you of the new opportunities in store for the 2010 riding season. Something new for the 2010 season is a season riding pass, $300.00 per adult and $200 per youth rider 17 & under. Each season pass will include a 1 day riding pass to share with a friend or one free night of camping for you, as well as 25% off a group riding lesson. To purchase a season pass just fill out the application and riding waiver on our web site http://www.willowhillcampandtrail.coml, and mail it with a check payable to WHFC&T to 1587 South Main Street, Chambersburg, Pa. 17201. WHFC&T will keep the waiver on file for the entire season. All you’ll need to do is just sign in before you ride each day. This will get you and your family out on the trail much faster.
Our days of operation have changed this season. We will be open Sat & Sun throughout the riding season, but we will be closed June 5th & 6th for the OXBO Hare Scramble, hosted by South Penn Enduro Riders. Although we strive to give you the best riding value for your money it has become necessary to raise our admission price to $30.00 for adults and $20.00 for youth riders 17 & under. However, the fees for spectators will remain $5.00, and camping will remain $20 for Saturday night.
Last season many of you expressed interest in adding more jumps to the park. At the end of last season we added the uphill step up jump. Everyone really seemed to enjoy the addition, so by the middle of July 2010, we plan to add 3 to 5 new jumps in the same area to create an entry level MX loop. Every jump will have an alternative go around, so that everyone can enjoy the area together as a family. Also, we found one of our original jumps made for a great photo opportunity. Riders enjoyed taking photos of their kids launching. To make this process easier, we are adding a short cut that riders can take to make this jump over and over again until Mom & Dad get just the photo they want.
The northeast corner of the park was out of reach for the beginner rider last season due to only being accessible via black and blue trails. This year we are creating a bypass around the difficult trails. This will allow everyone to ride as a group everywhere in the park, a feature that many of you have requested.
Our last new feature for the 2010 season is the opportunity to rent the park for private parties. Groups can rent our pavilion on days we are open or rent the entire park when we are closed. For details please call us at 717-552-5112 or email us @ campandride@gmail.com.
See you the second weekend of April!
