FAQ
- I would Like to bring my son's friend to ride, he is 10 years old. Can I sign him up to ride? WHC&T will need to have a signed and notarized waiver if a Parent or legal guardian is not present.and the rider is age 17 or younger. You can print off the waiver & indemnification page.
- Can I ride with my "big man" exhaust pipe? No, We have a sound limit of 96 decibels and a U.S.F.S. approved spark arrestor is required.
- How many miles of trail do you have? We have about 8 miles of trail servicing beginner, intermediate and advanced riders.
- So I take that as we can go any of the two days (Saturday through
Sunday), from now until the 1st weekend of November? That is correct, we will be open, Sat & Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Does this area include all the trails used for the HS, and the Jr
Enduro? Not all of the trail is being used, No trail that was on the mountain side of the Jr Enduro is open at this time. Everything but one small section is open on the Harescramble side.
- Primitive Camping is stated as "$20.00 per night". This is per
vehicle, correct ? (not $20 per person/per night)? $20.00 per Camp site is the camping fee.
- Will the trails be marked as "one direction only"? (hopefully) Yes, The trails are marked for one way direction only. Follow the "H" sign to get back to the starting area.
- Do I need to reserve a site to camp by the stream or is it first come first serve? We will hold your camping spot for you up to 6:00 PM, after 6:00 PM? The Camping is first come first served. We have several camping sites close to the stream. If you get there early you should have your pick of where to camp.
- Can I use my generator for power? Yes, however we ask that you shut it down by 11:00PM if it is loud.
- Do you have a dumping station for back & gray water? Not at this time. We are working on that and hope to have one in place for next year. You can dump your black or grey water at the Sideling Hill Service Plaza (located at milepost 172.3 between the Breezewood Interchange, Exit #12 and the Fort Littleton Interchange, Exit #13 Telephone 717-485-4254)
- Is there any membership price? There is no membership price or any other charge. The rate is $30.00 per adult person, $20.00 for youth 17 or under, and $5.00 per spectator.
- Is there a limit on the amount of riders and campers you can have there, I would hate to drive 3 hours to find out your full? We have not had to limit the number of riders or campers yet. We have 22 camping sites right now, and plan on having over 100 camping sites next year.
